Title: USACE Engineer Officer: Resident Military Engineer Officer

Supervised the approval and completion for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Projects for the Herat

Province Area Office. I was Site manager and Safety Officer on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers area

projects. I was held responsible to review overseas cost/design analysis of construction projects for the

Herat, Afghanistan Office.

• Planned and reviewed USACE Construction Projects for Herat Area Office commercial development.

• Reviewed contractual documents for civil works and construction projects for Herat Area Eng. Office.

• Evaluated tenders and resolved issues that prevented expedition of Issue for Construction drawings.

• Safety Officer in Charge of Movements and travel for USACE employees within the USACE Herat Area

office projects within Afghanistan and bordering areas.

U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (Afghanistan Engineering Division) Location - Bagram, Afghanistan, (2010)

Title: USACE (AED) Engineer Manager - Reconstruction Development Unit:

Worked with the Provincial Reconstruction and Development (PRT) brigade-level headquarters

Multinational Brigade. Responsibility was to improve security and to facilitate reconstruction projects in

surrounding provinces. I worked extensively with the Community Action and Local Governance Program.

  · Assigned to International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Multi- National Force.

  · Involved in the PRT objectives to improve security, to extend the authority of the Afghan central

government, and to facilitate reconstruction.

  · Involved with the U.S. Army Corp Provincial reconstruction objectives expanding throughout most of

the provinces of Afghanistan

USACE: Location – Camp Taji, Iraq, (2007 – 2009)

Title: Project Manager

Was tasked to help secure and manage multiple reconstruction projects located throughout Iraq. Served

as Project Manager as well as Quality Control Supervisor and was responsible for the completion of

multiple reconstruction projects. I was also in charge of the overall safety of civilian contractors, the

quality of work and to see that it was completed in a timely manner.

• Reviewed and ensured that the contract and regulations documents of projects were per standards

& confirmed that all projects were completed per government regulations.

• Performed budget analysis and cost analysis of all the projects.

• Scheduled all tasks and activities pertaining to all projects; reviewed the schedule and was responsible

for accepting completion of work as all projects were completed.

• Was responsible for review of designs before development & reviewed all RFP’s.

(Additional) U.S Army Overseas Deployments

Seoul, Korea; (2012) Operation “Key Resolve”: Deputy Provost Marshal - U.S. Army Corps of Supported

main support functions for the Maneuver and mobility support operations for the U.S. Army Corps of

Engineers in the Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (RSO&I) involving the

simulating the large-scale movement of troops onto the Korean peninsula

Grafenwoehr, Germany: (2005) – Military Police Executive Officer - “Operation Urgent Victory”

supported full range of U.S., joint, interagency and multinational operations. Assisted the V Corps

contingent of the Multinational Corps-Iraq, work together in the Joint Operations Center at the Joint

Multinational Training preparation for Unified Endeavor, a validation exercise to prepare V Corps to take

over the MNC-I role in Iraq.

Africa; Egypt: (2005) Military Police Officer - Operation “Bright Star” Organized and oversaw assigned

Security operations which consisted of Convoy Security, Base Security & Personal Security Details. Was

responsible for establishing Port security for arriving and departing Cargo Vessels as well as providing

security details to support USCENTCOM's training exercise
